The Platform is back!

For those of you that don’t know The Platform is a fun, interactive, multimedia event for 11-16 year olds and run by CYM.

Over the next 10 months The Platform is going to be taking a look at the Ten Commandments, what they were all about, why God gives us these instructions and what possible relevance they have to us today.

Next Saturday (11 September) is the first in the series taking a look at the very first commandment ‘You shall have no other God’s before me’. It will be held at St Andrews Church, Britannia Road, from 7-9pm, £2 entry.

Emily Hannah from CYM says “It would be great to see some of the new Year 7’s. Platform is a great chance for them to meet other young people their own age, who may attend the same school as them, helping with their transition into high school”.

The other Platform dates for this term are 19 June, 17 July, 11 September, 23 October, 13 November and 11 December.
