Praying for the Nation

“What an amazing time we are in...

We have had a lunar eclipse and an earthquake followed by a partial eclipse of the sun and an earthquake; also heavy snow and ice which has brought many of our communities to a complete standstill.  Now the nations are holding their breath after the Christmas season as the government cuts begin to happen with very little time for the consequences to be thought through.  Businesses are holding their breath just hoping they will survive these next few months.  People are anxious that their livelihoods may be taken away or that their benefits may be cut.

And yet: God......Is ever on the throne with a perfect plan and strategy to bring our nations and His people back to Him.

Please pray 

* That those who are making the difficult governmental and management decisions will make them with great wisdom and there will be pruning for growth

* The protection of our nations will not fail - where there are gaps we commission God's angelic forces to stand

* For those who find it difficult to cope and whose lives are vulnerable

* For those who would make the most of these times by preying on those most in need - the loan sharks and drug gangs

* For those who are angry with what is happening and don't know how to deal with that effectively turning it into their families with domestic violence or releasing riots and violence on our streets as with the student protests recently

* For the Media who control so much of what people perceive as the truth and release so much fear.  Often they determine what we believe relating to the government and have great power.  Keep watch on those who control the Media!

* For our Royal family as they prepare for Prince William and Kate's wedding plus Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall's wedding date to be announced.  Pray for protection as many people will come from all over the world to witness Prince William's wedding.  

* For those transport hubs and places or people which may be targeted for terrorism activities.

* Thank God for all He has done to protect us so far!
