Changes for regional music organisation

Andrew Gosden, Regional Co-ordinator for the Music and Worship Foundation (mwf) in East Anglia, has announced that the regional programme will come to an end because of reducing numbers.

However, mwf will continue, with the same vision to encourage quality of musicianship, breadth of style and integrity of heart, but with the practical training now provided though engageworship.org and the London School of Theology

In East Anglia, we also have the Cantus Firmus Trust , which is run by Richard Hubbard who is a Director of Music and Worship Foundation, and a Lecturer in Music at London School of Theology. This runs training days and events similar to what mwf has been doing.

SING GOSPEL! - Saturday 15th October, Ipswich

The next Cantus Firmus event will be Sing Gospel! coming up on Saturday 15th October at Burlington Baptist Church in Ipswich. Sing Gospel will be led by mwf favourites Steve and Vel Thompson. Sing-Gospel-web-link

Steve and Vel Thomspon are two of the UK’s leading exponents of Gospel music, working closely with Graham Kendrick for many years. Their ministry has taken them to over 80 countries, working with artists including Gloria Gaynor, Don Moen, Roy Castle, Michael Bolton and Darlene Zschech.
