Cards for Good Causes
Christians in Ipswich often like to buy Christmas cards from their favourite charities. But if would like to see a wider selection, there is a wide range available at the “Cards for Good Causes” shop in the town centre.
Jean Potter, Ipswich Shop Manager and a friend of Andrew Kleissner, Minister of Tacket Street church, says “For a wonderful selection of Christmas cards please visit the Cards for Good Causes Charity Christmas Card Shop, open Monday to Saturday 9 am to 4.45 pm in the Tourist Information Centre, St Stephens Lane, Ipswich.
Around 50 charities are represented including local and national such as The Leprosy Mission, St Elizabeth Hospice, East Anglian Air Ambulance, East Anglia Children’s Hospices, British Red Cross, Soldier’s Charities, Guide Dogs, Marie Curie, National Autistic Society, Victim Support, Suffolk Wildlife Trust and many more.
All charities receive at least 75p in every pound for all their card sales. We also have a large selection of Advent Calendars and Candles, as well as small gifts and accessories. The majority of our calendars depict the nativity and not a chocolate in sight! We look forward to seeing you.”
